I can't get over the extremities of pretending.

Dear Today,

This performance/visual/film art duo still grabs me the first day I heard about their exhibit in Washington, D.C. This was almost two years ago and I was feeling a true desire to want to perform. I just couldn't distance myself from music and how much musical performances have influenced my life and I needed to find a way to incorporate it into my life.

I always turn to their short films for inspiration something about the power of their silence. The power of shooting liquid across the room to the person you love. The power of using philosophical traits to construct wonderful abstractions of deep-seeded concepts.

I wanted to post this video of Oxes when they performed at Whartscape. I stage dove for the first time ever. And no, it didn't require any high fives. It was a lot of fun and realized that maybe this will be a secret hobby of mine. A past time developed out of the desire of finding new ways to experience a S H O W. Here is one:

This is the best video I can find even tough I'm pretty sure I saw a better video somewhere else. Regardless, Oxes rules and I will forever keep my senior year in high school tucked away in their songs. Who remembers preppies, jocks, goths, and punx rawk?! How about P O S E RS?!

Alright, I'm out.

love,

annA
