It officially feels like fall.

Dear Today,

So I figured today was a good day to talk about summer camp since it officially feels like the fall season. It doesn't quite look like it but last night I saw French Stewart's last show and saw Monument and Hi Ho Six Shooter for the first time and as we walked to the liquor store before the show, a new friend Brandon and I were talking about the nippy chill of the evening and how serene it was. It felt good to spread my fingers at night and feel the wind fly right up my sleeves. It probably would feel better if I didn't have strep throat. Anyways, so I taught a zine making class, sewing class, drawing & painting class, and a portrait drawing class. Here are my girls:

JoAnna, Red, Laura, below is Baja Fresh, Lauren and then Emma.

In the morning, we would sit on my half-ass blankets.

We had a Treasure Island Day.

Reminiscing about the summertime

Overall this summer was okay. It had it's downs and ups and it gradually became a season of great things once Camp Arena Stage happened. Yes, I spent part of the summer as a Visual Arts camp counselor for Camp Arena Stage. Although these first set of pictures capture the gist of my summer, the next set of pictures will consist of my time spent at Camp Arena Stage.

Enjoy!

This was right before summer started and Meheret (aka Mimi) and I were at the Perk trying to prepare for final exams.

This is right before Hilary Keil tried to quit smoking for her court charges. She is a fucking cutie.

This is Sayanan when we went to artDC right before the semester ended. He is inside an installation structure with light-bulbed ceilings. We ate Sticky Fingers before hand which rules to no end!

This is in C. Grimaldis Gallery from Baltimore City!

Now this was real summer:
